What you need
500 g haddock cooked
400 g potatoes boiled and peeled
1/2 onion ﬁnely chopped
100 ml milk
50 g butter
20 g ﬂour
1 tsp salt ½ tsp black pepper
Break up the cooked ﬁsh into ﬂakes. Break down the potatoes with your hands.
Melt butter and sauté onion over medium heat until soft. Do not allow it to brown.
Add ﬂour to the onion, stir well and cook for 1 to 2 minutes. Gradually add milk, stirring continuously. Simmer for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring often. Add ﬂaked ﬁsh and potatoes. Season liberally with salt and pepper. Cook over low heat until heated through.
Salt and pepper to taste.
